About the Pathway
Xanthi's Skilled Worker Placement Program connects qualified African graduates and professionals with employment opportunities in Germany through a structured recruitment and migration process. The program supports candidates from initial assessment to successful job placement by providing career guidance, employer matching, document preparation, and assistance with qualification recognition where required. It also offers support with visa application processes, pre-departure orientation, and integration guidance to help candidates transition smoothly into the German workforce. The program focuses on sectors experiencing skilled labour shortages, enabling participants to build sustainable international careers while meeting Germany's demand for qualified professionals. The program is designed to align with Germany's skilled immigration framework, which emphasizes recognized qualifications, employment offers, and ethical recruitment practices

Funding your migration
Investing in Your International Career
Candidates should be prepared to finance the costs associated with their migration journey to Germany. These expenses may include document authentication, qualification recognition (where applicable), visa application fees, language training, travel, health insurance, and other relocation-related costs.
While Xanthi works closely with employers, recruitment partners, and funding organizations to identify opportunities for financial assistance, German employers are generally not obligated to sponsor or cover the migration and relocation expenses of international candidates. Employer support varies depending on the company, industry, and employment agreement.
Where sponsorship or financial assistance is available, Xanthi will facilitate access to these opportunities and ensure eligible candidates are considered. However, such support cannot be guaranteed and should be viewed as an added benefit rather than a standard feature of the program.
For this reason, applicants are strongly encouraged to have a realistic financial plan and demonstrate the ability to fund their migration process if required. Candidates who are financially prepared are better positioned to complete the recruitment process efficiently and take advantage of employment opportunities as they arise.
At Xanthi, we remain committed to expanding partnerships with employers, development organizations, and financing institutions to reduce barriers and increase access to international career opportunities for qualified African professionals.
