Role Overview

As a Physiotherapist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments resulting from injury, illness, surgery, neurological disorders, or age-related conditions. Working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams, you will develop evidence-based rehabilitation programmes that promote recovery, restore mobility, and improve patients’ overall well-being.

Successful candidates may be placed in hospitals, rehabilitation centres, specialist clinics, outpatient facilities, or elderly care institutions across Germany.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical condition and functional limitations.
• Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on clinical assessment.
• Deliver rehabilitation programmes using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Improve patients’ mobility, strength, balance, flexibility, and coordination.
• Assist patients recovering from surgery, injury, neurological disorders, and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation exercises and injury prevention.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans where necessary.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to German healthcare standards, professional ethics, and patient safety protocols.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
• German language proficiency at B2 level (Goethe or TELC certification preferred).
• Full professional recognition in Germany is an advantage.
• Candidates with a Defizitbescheid or an ongoing recognition process are encouraged to apply.
• Strong clinical assessment and rehabilitation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
