Overview of the Role

Role Overview

As a Medical Doctor, you will provide comprehensive medical care, diagnose and manage a wide range of health conditions, collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and contribute to improving patient outcomes within modern German healthcare facilities.

Successful candidates may be placed in public hospitals, university hospitals, specialist clinics, rehabilitation centres, or private healthcare institutions depending on their qualifications and specialization.

Key Accountabilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and clinical examinations.
  • Request and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic investigations.
  • Develop evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions.
  • Perform medical procedures within your area of competence.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
  • Participate in ward rounds, multidisciplinary meetings, and emergency care where applicable.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and preventive healthcare.
  • Adhere to German healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and ethical medical practice
