Role Overview

As an MTR/MTRA or Radiology Technologist, you will perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced medical imaging equipment. Working alongside radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, you will play a vital role in supporting accurate diagnosis and effective patient care.

Successful candidates may be deployed to public hospitals, university hospitals, specialist clinics, private healthcare facilities, or diagnostic imaging centres throughout Germany.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations including X-ray, CT, and MRI procedures.
• Prepare patients for imaging examinations while ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment in accordance with established protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images to assist physicians in clinical decision-making.
• Adhere to radiation protection and patient safety regulations.
• Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond appropriately to any concerns.
• Maintain accurate imaging records and patient documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with German healthcare standards, quality assurance procedures, and infection prevention protocols.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Radiography, Medical Imaging, or Radiologic Technology from a recognized institution.
• German language proficiency at B2 level (Goethe or TELC certificate preferred).
• Practical experience in X-ray, CT, and/or MRI imaging.
• Open to placement in hospitals or diagnostic imaging centres across Germany.
• German professional recognition completed or an ongoing recognition process (Defizitbescheid) is acceptable.
• Strong technical knowledge of diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality healthcare delivery.
